I have tried to resist, but have officially surrendered. This is why I write.
I write for Christina, who was dedicated to words,
I write to help others understand me.
I write to offer a different perspective on things,
I write in search of serenity.
I write because I admire the wit of others, and now have courage to share my own.
I write because it shows the world truly who I am, a passionate and creative soul.

That was brave! I’m proud of you!! :) It’s funny how you are starting by sharing your writing instead working up the nerve and deciding when you are ready. I’m impressed!!

I know…I’m weird :). My next post is going to be about how artists shouldn’t care about rejection, ect…What ever happened to the saying “art is in the eye of the beholder”? Stay tuned :)

Thx :) The ironic part about all this, is that I used to kinda poo-poo poetry, and now here I am finding myself wanting to write just that…weird how the world works. Thanks for the comment / encouragement :)

That was beautiful. I truly enjoyed reading it, but now I wonder who Christina “was.” That was rather tinged with sadness.

Christina was a coworker of mine who passed away unexpectedly. We weren’t all that close, but as a devote time to writing, I think of her often…
Thanks for the comment :)
